One of our favorite things about the trip was seeing wildlife. Elk in our campsite, black bear on the side of the road (you always knew there was something to pull over for because the cars would start lining up), elk taking over our picnic spot at Mammoth Hot Springs, borrowing binoculars to see a grizzly eating a bison, live bison (nursing baby) on the side of the road and more elk in our campsite.
