We did some actual service at a catholic church for Dia de Los Reyes. They're the Spanish equivalent of Santa or so I understand. So we got to give gifts to kids the whole time through a foundation here. It was great!
We also had the baptism of one of our friends Maria. It was amazing and it has been great to work with her and see all of the faith she has and I've loved being a part of her progress. It was her birthday too! So we threw a party and was quite a day.
We also took one of our recent converts to the temple for the first time. I love getting to go to the temple and having one so close. We will also get to go on the 24th with Maria and I'm really looking forward to it.
Today was Dia de Los Reyes and that is the cake thing everyone here eats. It's pretty big and we just got it gifted to us So we'll see what happens... Everything was closed today so it was pretty chill and we didn't really go anywhere or do anything crazy, but we did have an awesome lesson with one of Maria's friends.
So yeah. There you have it. I'm super happy to be here and to have met all of these wonderful people and have all these experiences.
I wish the best to all of you!
Love,
Elder Larchar
